Within 24 hours of posting my cat, someone looking for that specific breed contacted me about her. Rescue Me sent her an alert about my posting. In a week, she was able to travel up to meet the cat and took her home. They are settling in beautifully and they are all happy! Thank you for all the hard work you do with this site. This cat was a rescue for me (which turned into a two year long fostering). I am 100% supportive to rescuing needy animals.

I had rescued my adorable Mi-Ke from a local kill shelter with only days left to her life there. They had marked her as 'Wild' but she was the most amazingly sweet cat! Soon after bringing Mi-Ke home we realized that she was having trouble seeing and after a trip to our veterinarian she was deemed blind. It didn't matter to us though Mi-Ke was great and we were so happy to have her. Sadly I lost my job due to a worsening health condition and we learned that we were going to have to move out of area and would not be able to keep you beautiful Mi-Ke. After an internet search for help finding her a home I found this rescue site and was so thankful because I refused to take her back to the animal shelter. Within a week of my posting Mi-Ke's add and picture on the site FOR FREE too - we got an email from her angel. Mi-Ke is now been re-adopted into her forever home and is happy and healthy. If it were not for this service I am afraid to think of the potential outcome for a senior, blind, cat like Mi-Ke. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
